Samsung presentation has done the rounds on tech sites such as Tech Radar and Pocket Lint today, showing off supposed specifications for the follow-up to Samsung's smash-hit Galaxy S II smartphone. If genuine, the phone races ahead of Apple's iPhone 4S on the specs front. Apple's new model has a mere 1.2GHz processor, 768Mb of RAM and an eight megapixel camera. The phone will  have  also an ultra-fast 4G connection, at least in territories such as the US where 4G networks are on offer.

The leak was reported by Android site Phandroid, and looks credible - although sharp-eyed observers have pointed to spelling errors, and that it misreports the processor Galaxy SII launched with. Both Apple and Samsung are locked in legal battles over patents in several territories. Samsung has filed suits in France and Italy in advance of iPhone 4S's launch.

Stuart Miles, editor of leading tech website Pocket Lint says, 'The Samsung Galaxy S II is the company's most successful Android phone to date, so its understandable it is already working on the next version to keep that momentum going. If the specs are right, it looks like Samsung will have a great handset in the worksThe phone, whatever its specifications, is expected to launch early next year.

Labelled 'Private Internal Presentation, October 2011,' and 'Copying or reproduction not allowed,' the screenshot shows off a phone with a 1.8Ghz dual-core processor, a huge 2GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel camera and 4.6-inch Super AMOLED screen.
