T-Mobile has introduced new product myTouch smartphones built by LG, the first of which is the simply named T-Mobile myTouch. The myTouch is in a traditional slab-style smartphone that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes in two colors.

The screen on the myTouch is 3.8-inches across, and the phone is powered by a 1GHz, single-core Qualcomm processor. There is a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture on the back, and the front is home to a VGA camera for video calling. T-Mobile has customized Android 2.3 Gingerbread with its own myTouch interface, and has included the Swype on-screen keyboard for easy text input.

The myTouch will be available in both black and white color options when it hits shelves in time for the holidays this year. Pricing has yet to be announced.
